Will eating more frequent meals help me lose weight?

This is an age-old idea! Whenever you’re talking about losing weight, someone or the other pipes up and says, “You should have six small meals a day. That’ll speed up your metabolism!”

But is there any truth to this? How will smaller, more frequent meals help burn the fat away?

I was going to write a massive article, but, today, I discovered that I had already been outdone. So, I'm just going to sit back and chill through this one.
